Boy, it's been a while since I've updated. Not that I meant to neglect the blog, I guess I've just been really busy and such.
Talon is doing great! He is about 5 1/2 months old now. He weighed 12 pounds 8 ounces at his last weigh on February 10th! We are very proud of him. I am a proud momma! Oh, and he has said his first word and would you believe it is mama? Man, makes my heart melt! He can sit semi-assisted for the longest time, and for about 30-45 seconds alone. He rolls all over the place, its crazy! And he scoots. He's teething really bad and he has almost two through! You can see them, the white tips. Its unreal really, at how fast he grows and developes!
We feed solids once a day. He loves peaches, they are his favorite. And he likes pears, carrots, sqaush and sweat potatoes. He tolerates applesauce and bananas. He hates green beans and peas, but I will keep trying them. It's so cute to see him enjoy his food. He was eating about half of a size 1 jar and now, (today actually) he ate a whole size 1 jar! He is just doing so good, it makes me so happy!
He sleeps well, most nights. He has had a few issues here and there. One, the great and loving 4 month marker of "lets not sleep" that happens. Two, the occasional issues with teething. But for the most part he sleeps about 6-7 hours, wakes to eat and then goes down another 3-4 hours, depending. It's nice to get some sleep. The hard part is that I don't take the chance to sleep when he does. But that's going to change. I am making a point to go to bed earlier.
